Liverpool Concept Kits

With Liverpool FC kicking off the 2020/21 season with new kit providers Nike, after 5 years with New Balance, the question all Liverpool fans were thinking was what will the new kits look like?

On the 1st August, Nike and Liverpool revealed the new home kit for the 2020/21 season. The beginning of a new era for the club. The players, as evident in the video below, were just as excited to get a first-look at their new home and goalkeeper kit, as fans would be.

Even with the new kit now unveiled, I have put together a few concept designs of my own that I think would work as Liverpool home and away kits in the future.

Liverpool 6 Stars Home Kit

This Liverpool home kit, is in celebration of their 6th European Cup triumph. Evidenced with the 6 starts displayed on the shirt and shorts.

Alternative Liverpool Home Kit

This alternative Liverpool home kit, brings together their predominant kit colours of red and white, and pays homage to the design of AS Monaco’s home kits.

Sunse

This colourful ‘sunset’ kit, brings together the red and subtle yellow of the Liverpool badge, and reflects that of FC Barcelona’s 13/14 away kit, one that caught many eyes.

Liver Bird

This black kit, celebrates the clubs crest of the liver bird. Seemingly a design that would be accepted by many fans, giving attention to the badge of the club, a design I feel would resonate with a lot of fans.

Mint faded

With reference to the 19/20 goalkeeping kit, this design draws together the mint green which looks to go well with dark blue, which is faded into the shorts. A concept that will be a recognisable alternative away kit.

Orange and black

Black and orange are colours that work very well together, and is a colour scheme very few Liverpool away kits have used over the years.

With Nike’s release of the 2020/21 kit, it is the beginning of a multi-year partnership that is the first time that these two sporting giants have collaborated. We’ll have to see what kit designs Nike will provide for Liverpool in future years.
