Hello my name is Andrew McKelvie, and welcome to my personal networking and blogging website, ‘Andrew McKelvie’s Sporting Personal Network (AMSPN)’.

I have recently graduated from Bournemouth University, receiving a Second Class Upper Division Bachelor’s of Arts Honours degree in Communication and Media. My passion for sport, especially football, has culminated with my love for media, both traditional and the ever-growing digital platform. This blog attempts to provide the platform to link these different aspects media together. In addition to showing my my innovation and creativity, through my range of digital media skills that are sought-after.

I am someone who works hard, learns quickly and is able to adapt to many roles, surrounding digital and social media in particular. Evidenced not just my education, but during my time, from August 2018 to July 2019, at my undergraduate placement at Draw UK. Where I was hired as their Digital Media Intern, where I was exposed and improved my skills and knowledge, as my responsibility and trust at the company grew.

These roles and skills included, the website maintenance and development of both their trade and customer website, in addition to working closely in partnership with Amazon, Wayfair and Etail Solutions. As well as heading some of their digital marketing campaigns, that included Facebook and Mailchimp. I was trusted with a range of responsibilities and tasks at the company, not just on digital media. My versatility and enthusiasm gave me the confidence to be a valuable member of the team.

Overall, this blog and personal network website attempts to provide a platform to show an extension of myself. From a portfolio of some of my work, to show some of the skill sets I have attained. To my enthusiasm and dedication to my interests, and to show the synergy of my love of sport and the importance media can have in expressing my self-identity. By converting it into something meaningful, and hopefully for any and everybody who comes across this blog will enjoy.

Sincererly,

Andrew McKelvie
